  2. Hi, First post here so sorry if I'm asking something that has been answered, but I did a search and didn't find what I needed. Here's my project and what I'd like to do: Create a large infographic with lots of groups in Illustrator. Export the large infographic as ONE large SVG. Copy the inline SVG code and paste it into the body of an HTML page. Animate the individual elements of the ONE large SVG. I've attached a JPG of an example infographic. It contains ten sections. I'd like to be able to access individual SVG elements (e.
  3. On Chrome and Opera after animating (opening) div (door) lines around that div appears. Tried adding translateZ(0), but then even worse - lines appears after page loads, you don't even need to animate.. On Mozilla and Edge seems fine. Can GSAP fix this issue? I tried adding something like this on hover event: TweenMax.to(".door", 2,{rotationY:13, transformPerspective:300, transformStyle:"preserve-3d",repeat:1, yoyo:true}}); but doesnt work at all.. Thanks, Mantvydas
  4. I've created an animated landing page for my portfolio using GSAP and ScrollMagic.js, but it's pretty resource intensive and I know my code isn't the most efficient. How can I modify the code to create a smoother and more robust animation? And how can my JavaScript be condensed and more efficiently written to avoid repetition? function pageScroll(e) { var clicked = e.currentTarget.id; if (clicked == "navWelcome") { TweenMax.to($('#mainNav'), 0.4, {x:windowWidth}); TweenMax.to(window, 0.8, {scrollTo:{y:"header"}, delay:0.3}); }else if (clicked == "arrow") { Twe
  5. Hey guys, I'm having some weird stacking order issues in Firefox and Safari, maybe someone can put me in the right direction towards fixing it. I have 2 cards to flip, that are inline-block, side by side and have the corners overlapped (on purpose). While they are rotating, one card gets behind the other one for a brief moment until it gets the correct order. This happens in Firefox. Chrome is fine. Also, I can see a different issue in Safari that appeared recently, where rotation is not even visible. This did work a couple months ago and still works in my production
  6. I'm laying out ideas on how to approach an animation that will happen in multiple places across an entire site. While I know I could use DrawSVG...the way I developed these circles for each section was specifically for ease of control of the various sizes across sections, viewports, etc...so I opted for a circle created with straight CSS rather than SVG. Can you do a similar draw effect with the circles on CSS properties, without having to use SVG and DrawSVG?
  7. I try to copy this website to study and I found that my fonts are not smoothly. I would like to gain your suggestion how to make website like this. Thank you, Kopkap. http://www.carlsberg.com/170/
  8. Hello professionals, I need Your help changing this animation for better performance. When I use this infinite animation on my website, I lose 20/30 fps from 60 fps. Can I change this CSS animation to GSAP animation? Would it be better performance? And if it would be, how I can make same skew infinite loop with GSAP? I tried to make it with GSAP but I can only make animation from left to right, how to make this skew motion? Thanks, Mantvydas
  9. Hi guys, I'm new to React and using GSAP with it. I'm trying to do something really simple. I'm calling an animation on componentDidMount() and now I would like for this animation to leave as well. Now, I though I could do it using componentDidUnmount(), but that is not working. Can anyone help animating something out? Code: componentDidMount(){ this.loadOverlay = TweenLite.to(this.loaderOverlay, 1, { width: "110%", zIndex: "900", ease: Expo.easeInOut, delay: 2.1 }); } componentWillUnmount(){ this.loadO
  10. Hi GSAP community, Let me start out by saying that I'm very new to React, but I'm looking to do a smooth animation on page load using GSAP. I've done several animations before using GSAP, but when it comes to React, animation just seem really complex. Right now, all I'm looking to do, is having my loading screen, slide of to the right using Expo.easeInOut after a couple of seconds, revealing the page beneath it. But all documentation about animating in React seems extremely complex, compared to what usually takes 2-3 lines of code to do. Can anyone of you help? Thanks
  11. Hi guys, I have issue on Mozilla with text animation. On Chrome and all other browsers works fine (in Microsoft Edge all animation in general is laggy, very low performance) but on Mozilla text animation is jerky and jumping. But div's/boxes animation on Mozilla works just fine, I don't know what is wrong here. I added rotation: 0.01 but still same jumping on text. How I can solve this problem? Thanks, Mantvydas
  12. I am trying to reveal the black background only after the two red and blue canvases have completed the animation. But as you can see there is "leak" and the black ground is visible during the rotation. Also I'm learning to control overflow and have found this link https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8837050/allow-specific-tag-to-override-overflowhidden , but theres something I'm doing wrong . Please Help.
  13. I recently struggle to deliver a couple of banners for XAd. They needed to be a 320x50 and a 300x250 with weights of 20k and 40k respectively. After some research I ended up doing it in Photoshop. However "Video Timeline" only allowed for linear interpolation. My question is: When requested for GIF banners what is your approach? tools? workflow? dealing with the art director?

  15. Hello everybody I am trying to convert, refactor a jQuery animation to pure GSAP. Using gsap.jquery gave several errors. Unlike in the guide written I found one always requires jquery still. I want to convert jquery.animate() to GSAP function. What links and resources are there to help me with converting Jquery to pure GSAP?

    Draw svg

Hello, I'm trying to use DrawSVG for the external border . As you can see I have 4 blocks that appear one by one . What I'd like to do is : As soon as the first block appears a border should start and complete its path as the last block appears I hope I'm clear what I want

  20. Hi, I stumbled across a website that is using GSAP (TweenMax, based on Wappalyzer) to animate its elements, and I found one specific animation really interesting. If you visit the website in Desktop (http://thieb.co) and arrive at the home page, click one of the projects and you'll be brought into the specific project page. If you see carefully, the project title animates from the home page position to the project page position, and the URL changes. But the project title element is still the same. I was just trying to figure out how to do this a
  21. I'm working on a lightweight text slider for use on WordPress sites. The slider's context appears to be an issue: on some sites, contained within a widget, the animation works perfectly. On others, using a different WP theme, when the animation runs, the "slides" do slide, but instead of sliding out of view, they just slide to the far right side of the screen, underneath the other content. The "offscreen" slides remain partially visible under that content. I am pretty sure this is concerned with the distance the "slides" move, which I'll admit I don't fully understand. The basic co
  22. Hi everyone, I am trying to perform an animation with a delay on every subsequent SVG 'path'. In this Codepen link you can see that every letter of the SVG logo is separated by a 'path'. How do I perform a DrawSVG animation delay for each path, similar to how it looks like in here. This was animated using Anime.js, but sadly it couldn't control the animation using events as good as DrawSVG, but the delay of each letter was what I'm looking for. Is there a quick way to do this? Or would I have to manually delay every path by giving it IDs? Thanks
  23. How can I achieve this scroll animation on the hero sections on this website - https://www.sapientrazorfish.com/ using scrollmagic and GSAP or any plugin you can direct me towards. My main aim here is to achieve the overlapping section and snap effect. Looking at my codepen, I've achieved the overlapping effect but can't just seem to make them snap on scroll just like the website. Any help is appreciated.
  24. Hi guys, This is more of a pre-sale question than a problem, to be honest. But I do need some help with the Javascript/jQuery. I'm working on an SVG animation using Anime.js, but I feel that there are limitations to the animation that's possible for SVG. I was trying to replicate https://thieb.co homepage animation. So basically on mouse down, the animation starts playing, and mouse up, the animation reverses to the empty state. Due to Anime.js's limitations, I was wondering if DrawSVG is able to replicate the aforementioned effect? With a 'compl
