Using Tweenlite in Adobe AIR, renders fine in Windows but very laggy on MBP

I am playing with a desktop AIR app. I developed it on Windows and has a feature: Click the button, some panel hides.

 

I use TweenLite's .to function to hide that panel (just a Sprite with about 20-30 children inside)

 

Renders very smooth on Windows but on Mac, it's very laggy. Is there any tips to share so that I know where to fix it?

It isn't easy to troubleshoot something like this without seeing the files. 

Feel free to post a simple example (zipped)

We work off of MBPs all the time and things run super smooth.
