animate pixel particles from one canvas img to another using gsap

I tried to animate the skull shape to the text shape but did not work, I do not know how to go about doing that. 

would anyone familiar with this help.? thank you gsapers

As you may have seen in the forum guidelines - we try to keep these forum discussions to GSAP specific questions. I'm not particularly well versed in canvas myself, so my apologies if there is a GSAP focused question here - but this looks like it would be more of a discussion around custom logic and canvas itself

People are obviously welcome to jump in and I hope you find some help - but I'm just attempting to set some expectations.
