Animating along path without any club plugin

Hello, 

 

I would like to know how to get this animation effect (codepen link) without any club plugin, I'm kinda new with GSAP and have to do something like this at work, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hi,

 

You get curvy motion by just using the BezierPlugin and passing in your own values.

The beauty of MorphSVG is that it can analyze an SVG path and get those values for you, saving you a ton or work / time.

 

I forked the demo you referenced to show curved motion using the BezierPlugin and some made up x/y values. If you know the coordinates of the points on your path, you can plug them in there.

 

Hopefully you understand that it isn't feasible for us to advise you on how to bypass purchasing the tools that fund the development of the rest of the platform. Keep in mind you can use all the Club plugins on CodePen. I think you'll find the membership will pay for itself very quickly (within the first hours of your first project).
