  1. Hey fellow GreenSockers A little over five years ago, I took a chance and posted a question on the GreenSock forum. Nobody called me dumb and that was a HUGE relief! So much so that I wrote an entire GS post about it four years ago. It was a turning point for me and my JavaScript journey. Today, I’m taking another big leap in my life and launching a web animation tutorial site. My reasons for doing so are both personal and professional. This thread is a sequel to my One Year post listed above. Call it My Five Year Journey. Personal reasons My life has been full of
  2. In another thread - I had posed a question about tutorials that seemed as though it had a fair amount of support. This thread is for sharing some of those ideas. As I played around, I ended up with something slightly different than my original thoughts but the general concept remains. This is the first of hopefully many which I will continue to link in this thread as I make them. Remember - these are aimed at beginners just like me. Happy to entertain any ideas to make them better. Please enjoy "Tales From A Rookie". Episode 1: Rotate An Object
  3. Want to learn GSAP, but not sure where to start? Nothing beats our official hands-on video training. I'm Carl Schooff, GreenSock's Geek Ambassador. I recorded videos for every lesson we've been using in classrooms and corporations across the country, so you can now access the same material from the convenience of your own computer. Each lesson focuses on core features of GSAP that you get to see applied in small, real-world projects. Starting with a simple tween, I'll walk you through the most powerful features of the GSAP API. You'll learn how to create elaborate sequences with our timeline t
  4. I think it would be useful to have a place where to post resources that might be helpful when building banners. I've never used web safe fonts in banners (usually images and svg), but I think this might be helpful: http://www.cssfontstack.com/ What other tools besides GSAP do you use when building ads?
  5. Hi, Are there any written tutorials on using the SVGPlugIn and complex SVGs? I'm getting new to SVG animation and would like some help. I see some examples on CodePen, but I need more indepth information on how it all works etc. Thanks.
  6. What are some of the best resources for learning GSAP? I've gone through the intro tutorials and been learning a lot from different topics and codepens, but I'm wondering if there is a good systematic way to learn the complete library? Thanks!

    Tutorials?

Hey Greensock team, I'm sure this isn't a new request but I check back here every so often to see if any new tutorials have been posted. Carl, I don't mean to call you out but I learned quite a bit from your early Flash tutorials and since your migration to greensock, I've been awaiting the same great learning content from snorkl.tv to appear here for GSAP. The slideshow is a great start for us beginners but are there any plans for any new video tutorials? Thanks in advance. Always appreciate the contribution you guys make to web dev! - azuki
