  1. I was trying to follow the video tutorial on this site: https://greensock.com/get-started-js I was stuck on the very first example he gave: `TweenMax.to(".logo", 2, {left:600});` I check the console and there was no error, so I was confuse. I thought i did something wrong on my side, but had no idea what. after some trial and error the 'x' property seem to work fine. Turns out for some reason the left property doesnt work with images. I tried doing it with a div box and the left property works as intended. Can someone explain why this is happening? Thanks
  2. I came across this on CodePen last week and I've been digging around to better understand it ever since. Not getting very far very fast. I'm new to GSAP and SVG (which may be 90% of the problem) and what I'm trying to figure out is what's going on behind the drawable connections. If not a tutorial, just a quick pseudo-code summary of how this is implemented might be enough.
  3. So this is the thing I was talking about, the image comes downwards while the text comes upwards until they reach the bottom/top of the page:
  4. Hi there guys! can you please help me I am struggling how to code the animation for it properly with my 4 separated frames images. I want to animate it smoothly and nicely like normal cyclist. Here's my code for animating 4 framed images. JavaScript: window.onload = init; function init() { TweenMax.set("#two, #three, #four", {alpha: 0}); animationOne(); } function animationOne() { TweenMax.to("#one", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1}); TweenMax.to("#two", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1}); TweenMax.to("#two", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1.1}); TweenMax.to("#three", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1.1}); TweenMax.to("#three", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1.2}); TweenMax.to("#four", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1.2}); TweenMax.set("#one", {alpha: 1, delay: 1.3}); TweenMax.set("#two, #three, #four", {alpha: 0, delay: 1.3, onComplete: animationTwo}); } function animationTwo() { TweenMax.to("#one", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1}); TweenMax.to("#two", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1}); TweenMax.to("#two", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1.1}); TweenMax.to("#three", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1.1}); TweenMax.to("#three", 0, {alpha: 0, delay: 1.2}); TweenMax.to("#four", 0, {alpha: 1, delay: 1.2}); } HTML: <div id="cyclist"> <img id="one" src="https://s32.postimg.org/inysw8m2d/wiggins_01.png"/> <img id="two" src="https://s32.postimg.org/ip8qpnnw5/wiggins_02.png"/> <img id="three" src="https://s32.postimg.org/c0279n2k5/wiggins_03.png"/> <img id="four" src="https://s32.postimg.org/j4k0io9th/wiggins_04.png"/> </div> CSS: img { position: absolute; left: 10px; top: 10px; bottom: 0; right: 0; } For full editing please go here: http://codepen.io/Waren_Gonzaga/pen/PzEzag Kindly fork my pen and please revise. It really helps me to figure out how to make a code for this animation.

  6. Hi, I have been trying to create an image carousel for a website, I found Greensock out of a recommendation because jQuery animations aren't as fluid, I looked at the beginner tutorials from Petr and also followed a tutorial he has on youtube, I have been having problems making the images rotate as shown in my codepen. Can someone help me please?
  7. This tweet is where it started https://twitter.com/gryghostvisuals/status/556154294823813120 I'm doing a series of tutorials and articles for Tuts+ on TimelineMax so I'm interested in types of effects and demos readers would like to see included in this series. Thanks in advance for your ideas posted \o/
  8. Hi, I am a total noob to jQuery and just learned what GreenSock was today. I would really like to use Superscrollorama for a site I'm building but I don't totally get it. I'm attempting to play with this example but nothing is happening: https://github.com/johnpolacek/superscrollorama/blob/master/simpledemo.html When I save this as an html file and open it up, it's just black words on a white screen. Please help!
  9. There have been a number of posts here about various ways to preload images or build dynamic slideshows with the javascript version of GSAP. Please check out this tutorial by Michael from nightlycoding.com. He did an excellent job: http://nightlycoding.com/index.php/2012/09/image-slideshow-with-preloadjs-jquery-and-tweenmax/ Keep an eye on him. He has a number of GreenSock tutorials. Very cool. Carl ---
