As i understand based on documentation, skew properties come after scale properties (this is exactly what i need), but when im trying on a practice i see the opposite result where skew is coming before scale properties. Hi, I'm trying to animate a set of cards so when they animate in they rotate to a specific angle, these cards are stacked one on top of each other, so I have position them absolutely inside another div, but the transformOrigin does not seem to have an effect. Any help will be much appreciated. *** UPDATE *** After working on a codepen example I found what I did wrong, the codepen link has a working example.   5. I'm trying to test out a scroll hijacking method I saw on http://www.adidas.com/us/climazone. On that page, they have a fixed position container with everything in it absolutely positioned and on page scroll they translate3d the elements up -Y scroll position which I can do but they key ingredient they add is easing to that scroll tracking. So as you scroll the elements follow "recreating the scroll effect" but upon release slowly ease into their final place which is the end Y scroll position.   7. I'm getting towards the end of a project, and started wondering about performance and improving the overall quality of the animations I'm making. In the example pen, I have a few questions. 1. Does using x, y improve the animations over using top, bottom, left, right? In a video by Paul Irish it looks like using translate for CSS animations is performs better, especially in more complicated examples, is this similar with GSAP? Hello, I went through greensock forum to find solution for smooth scrolling, and it was mostly Blake's codepen solution which pretty much worked as I want, however I was wondering would they work with scrollmagic? What exactly I mean is, I want to trigger gsap animations on element when they scroll into view, and for this I use scrollmagic. I was wondering if there will be problem with this since I read somewhere that this is just transform (which I saw with inspect element), and since it's not "real scroll" scrollmagic wont read it and trigger it when it should? I'm trying to create a scrolling effect like this: Scroll / Parallax effect If you scroll the page down and the image is in the viewport, it will receive a dynamic translate3d on the y-axis between 0% and max. +25% (based on scroll ). If you scroll the page up, it will be reserved (up to -25%). I'm still a JS beginner, below you can see my attempt with GASP/ScrollMagic/TweenMax. Unfortunately this is still not like in the example above. The parallax-item stops moving at a certain point although it is still in the viewport and you keep on scrolling.

  12. Hi guys, I'm having an issue with restarting a master timeline with nested timelines and understanding to how properly clear props from elements. Basically, I have svg that uses symbols that have inline transforms on them applied when exporting from Illustrator. I'm animating x and y values. Then on btn click, I would like to completely restart and reset the animation and elements transform to initial values. The issue is that when I clear all props or just transform, it's removing the inline transform values that are coming from svg. But I would want to revert them back
  13. Hi, there's a strange bug I've been coming across and not sure how to fix, it only happens very occasionally, but does always happen eventually if you keep refreshing. Seems like it's something to do with a wrong 'xPercent' calculation? I'm animating every svg elements y position from bottom to top, fine Then I am animating some elements to 'wiggle' their x and y positions.   16. Hi all I am developing an animation software. To deploy an animation also to the web I wrote a plugin which renders SVG and uses GSAP to animate values. Btw...you greensocks are doing a great job <3 Now I added the possibility to add 3d transformations but I get stuck with the perspective in rotationx/y. Is it possible to have a perspective for SVG at all? The output should look like the screenshot.

  19. I have a circular input with a width and height of 80vw/vh (depending on portrait or landscape).. GSAP Draggable uses the translate3d for the draggable component, but when I resize my window it doesn't center my #controller element anymore because of that.
  20. Hi all, I would like to transform an element using vh units rather than %, however when I use them the transformation produced is not correct. When I use TweenLite.to(el, 1, {y: '100%'}) the style applied to element is correct style="transform: translate(0%, 100%) matrix(1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0);" but when I'm trying to use TweenLite.to(box2, 1, {y: '100vh'}) the style applied to element is style="transform: matrix(1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 100);" Thanks for any advice!
  21. Hi, I've encountered a small bug relating to the rotation property. As you can see in my codenpen I'm rotating a single Gear in the SVG. It is being animated to 360 degrees and is repeating indefinitely. The behavior is as expected except the fact that if you observe carefully, there is a slight jerk/glitch/delay whatever you call it, in the animation. It becomes more noticeable as we slow down the animation. I swear I saw a post regarding this bug on this forum some time ago but now I can't find that post that's why I'm asking again. I can see this behaviour on multiple Android devices.   24. Hi all! I'm having a bit of a weird situation. I'm creating a fake scrollbar with Draggable that moves its target's scrollTop position as the scrollbar moves. I've got this working like a charm, except for one hiccup... IE is returning different values for the scrollbar's transform CSS value than Chrome/Firefox are. For example, Chrome/Firefox are returning something like matrix(1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 5), while IE is returning matrix3d(1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 5, 0, 1).
