  1. I'm trying to apply a scrub/scrollTrigger to an animation, if I exclude the ScrollTrigger I can get a smooth animation in the tl but applying ST transforms it to on/off with no transistion. It is code borrowed & butchered from the talented and helpful of this forum so apologies for the state of markup, lot of rooting around trying to make sense of things. What i want to achieve is an 'onload' animation - SVG expands - which is then reversed on scroll & scrub, some animation I can get to work thanks to the ST video, which made it look too easy Thanks for any pointers on my mistakes, it is apparently a great education...
  2. Hey guys, great product. Thank you so much!
  3. hey i have noticed that some svg specific attributes will be tweened without using the AttrPlugin and {attr: {}} syntax, and some will. is this a feature that is currently in works or is there a reason that only some but not all of those attributes work that way? thank you.
  4. Hello fellow Greensockers! My conundrum is as follows: - I'm trying to layer several images on top of one another - Each image is masked with a curved / irregular shaped SVG mask (could be PNG or SVG Path or external SVG) - Each mask needs to animate - Now heres the kicker, each image needs to be clickable / interactive within the constraints of the mask area I forked Jonathan's example (http://codepen.io/jonathan/details/OyarJK), as it was already using an animated SVG/PNG mask which ticked off the 1st 3 points above. My fork is here - http://codepen.io/timostsauber/pen/zqzmKV I am using a SVG Path for the 1st mask, and a SVG file for the second mask. Just to test both. So the 1st one is not using attr for animation whilst the second one is. Each image has a hover event listener, but as you can see the top image clickable area takes up the entire banner, outside of the masked area. I realise I can achieve this with separate, invisible buttons on top of the SVG image masks, but this would mean code duplication, and also animating the invisible buttons to move with the masks + images. I tried various combinations of pointer-events on the image / SVG layers, but to no avail. So I'm very curious to know if this is possible, as this method of masking seems to be the best and most cross browser friendly. Thanks for any help in advance!
  5. Stumped on this. I would like to use the attr plugin to do a simple animation for my banners, basically just have an image animate in from the side or top. This page makes it seem like I could use the attr plugin to animate the x, y coordinates of an element. I can get the heigh and width animation working as long as I use a table, but can't figure out how to get the x and y working. https://greensock.com/AttrPlugin My html and scripts are attached.
