When setting your tweens to useFrames for animation, will different browsers play it at different speeds?

I'm tweening the opacity of an element on page and notice that it seems to play a lot faster in safari than chrome. Do they use different frame rates or is this likely a performance issue with Chrome?

Generally things should run at 60fps under good conditions, but it can drop lower if the browser has a hard time keeping up with rendering (that's not something GSAP controls). So in your case, perhaps Chrome is having a tough time keeping up.

You can throttle the fps using:

TweenLite.ticker.fps(30); //limits to 30fps, or use whatever number you want less than 60

I'm curious: why are you setting useFrames:true?
