goto() deprecated?

Is goto() deprecated for TimelineLite and TimelineMax?

 

It's still in the API docs (http://www.greensock.com/as/docs/tween/com/greensock/TimelineLite.html), but doesn't come up in the code hints in the Flash IDE, as well as throwing an "possibly undefined method" compilation error.

 

What's the workaround now?

It looks like you're viewing the old v11 docs from years back. And yes, that method has been deprecated in favor of seek() because the actual ECMAScript spec reserves the "goto" keyword, making it completely off-limits. Here are the new docs for v12:

Sorry about any confusion. We leave the old docs up for legacy stuff (although we'll probably remove them within the next 6-12 months).
