Hello Everyone!

I have been working with Edge Animate along with PhoneGap when packaging my applications. The platform serves a number of essential purposes. But, the maximum size is not large enough, resulting in choppy animations.

In your experience, what is the fastest open-source platform you have used with GreenSock?

Thanks for your help! :)

Hello and Welcome to the GreenSock Forums

  • When you are testing your app.. are you testing on an actual device or through the PhoneGap emulator ?

If you are you are testing on an actual device:

  • What is the model, Operating System, and OS version being used ?

GSAP is very fast and performs very well.. ive noticed that when using PhoneGap to test the app, that PhoneGap is not a good test bed when testing for actual performance and smoothness of animation.

thanks.. if the app is online i would be more than happy to test on my android devices :)

I use http://www.icenium.com/product/ion to develop/test HTML5 mobile apps. I suggest you to optimize every image possible and to use Zepto instead of jQuery ( it even have touch/swipe events! ) to keep the size at minimum ;) I don't have any issues related to GSAP :)
