drag along path / non rectangular bounds

I like Draggable a lot!

 

Question: is it possible / will it be possible

to drag an object along an svg-path or canvas-path

 

or within an non rectangular svg-shape / canvas-shape

Glad you're diggin' Draggable.

 

Neither of those features are in the works for the near future, but we do hope to eventually create motion path tools for tweening that may help with that indirectly. Thanks for asking.

In the one and a half years since this question was originally posed, has there been any movement in this direction? I think I can manage to fake something similar with the DrawSVGPlugin, but I'm not sure if it'll really get me where I need to go.
