Hello,

Need help to find info and examples on how to ...

trigger animations to play when a specific anchor,

or scroll line # become visible. Possibly with an offset option.

To also play forward with down and right scrolling, and backwards with with up/left scrolling.

Tried Superscrollorama controller, works, but it seems to be limited to window center, true and false.

Or what the key words would be for a search?

My efforts returned poor results.

thank you

Hi and welcome to the GreenSock forums.

For the type of scroll-driven animation you are describing, SuperScrollorama is really the best solution we have seen. Perhaps if you have a feature request or need more help with it you can try asking here: https://github.com/johnpolacek/superscrollorama/issues?state=open

If you need to go the route of creating your own mechanism for translating scroll values into timeline progress, I would recommend reading Rodrigo's article here: http://codeaway.info/parallax-and-scrolling-control-of-tweens-with-greensock-ap-js/ and exploring the demos he links to.

Also here is a very basic codepen illustrating how change in scroll values can drive a TImelineLite/Max animation: http://codepen.io/adrianparr/pen/mbrqt

I realize none of these answer your questions directly but hopefully they get you a little closer to understanding what might be involved.

Hello,

Thank you. Read the Superscrollorama page again. Missed it the first. There is an option for scroll line # and element triggers.
