Turn On Handles Without Clicking Object

Is it possible to turn on the handles and outline of an object without clicking on it? I'm adding objects to the stage dynamically, and I'd like to turn the cages on when they are added.

Sure, you can do pretty much anything directly through code if you want. To select an item, just use selectItem(), like:

 

yourTransformManager.selectItem(yourItem);
