Hi and welcome to the GreenSock Forums.

 

Yes, IE7/8 are notorious for mis-handling transparent pngs, especially when you try to animate them.

 

People claim to have found solutions, but most of them appear to only work under certain conditions or require a lot of heavy processing to implement. Do a google search for "black border ie7 transparent png" and you will see a bunch of articles and some solutions that appear to work some of the time. 

 

We haven't yet found a solution reliable enough to bake into our tools. If you find something that works for you, feel free to post about it here. It could very well help some folks out.
