TimelineMax timeScale minimum value is not zero?

Hey folks,

 

So I'm setting up a project where there's a main timeline (mainTL), and then the user has to constantly tap a key to keep that timeline playing at its normal speed — otherwise the timeScale slowly drops down to 0.

 

While debugging, I've noticed that even when the timeScale is 0, the currentProgress of mainTL slowly (slowly) moves. And when I read out the timeScale, I get the value 0.00001.

 

Is that the expected behavior?
