When you do a movieClip.reverse() using tween plugin it nulls out any dynamically added children to the movieClip as well as any attributes manipulated like color. Any ideas how to get around this??

I'm not familiar with a reverse() method on MovieClips.

 

Can you post a simplified fla that illustrates the problem?

 

just for kicks, I experimented with dynamically adding on movie clip to another that has a TweenMax frame tween applied to it and the dynamically added clip stayed in place just fine.

 

perhaps I am misunderstanding your problem.
