Transformer AS2 in Flash Player 7

Would the AS2 version of the transformer class work in any way with Flash Player 7?

I need the core features add to stage, rotate and resize.

No, I don't believe so because TransformManager requires access to Matrix values of the MovieClip(s) and if I remember correctly, those were introduced in Flash Player 8.
