Easing a text box

I have a dynamic text box on my stage that i want to ease in using the bounce ease with an external as file, but it is giving me an error saying access of possibly undefined property easeOut through a reference with static type flash.text:TextField. How can I fix this?

Sounds like you might just have to import the Greensock easing classes. Can you check to see if you have:

 

import com.greensock.easing.*

 

Somewhere near the top of your as file. Also if you could post some code it would be really helpful for troubleshooting.

Yeah, make sure you do what Zync said, but also it sounds to me like you might have a malformed tween like:

 

BAD: TweenLite.to(myTextField, 1, {y:100, easeOut:Bounce});

GOOD: TweenLite.to(myTextField, 1, {y:100, ease:Bounce.easeOut});

I figured it out, it was a stupid error on my part lol
