Anyone have any success using liquid stage & swffit

Recommended Posts

I got liquid stage to working great, but when I use swffit to set the min height and width for the site, it seems to break the liquid stage aspect. Has anyone had any luck with getting these 2 to work together?

Nope, never tried. It doesn't surprise me that they conflict, though, since they both attempt to control the same kind of thing.

You do know that you can set a minimum width/height on a LiquidStage directly, right?

Will that trigger the browser scroll bars if either of those are met?

Nope. LiquidStage can't actually control the size/position of the embedded object (swf) in the HTML page (ActionScript can never do that).

hello Icekomo

I've already done it (and with Gaia Framework)

I have no swffit code in my swf, only in the html page, ie :

swfobject.embedSWF("main.swf", "flashcontent", "100%", "100%", "10.0.0", "expressInstall.swf", flashvars, params, attributes);

swffit.fit("flashcontent", 1000, 550);

and my LiquidStage is created like this :

var ls:LiquidStage = new LiquidStage(this.stage, 1680, 920, 1000, 550);

as greensock pointed out :

Swffit init width/height = LiquidStage minimum width/height

I hope this will help :)
