Hi @Samuel21dev and welcome to the GreenSock forums!

 

I inspected that and it seems that is adding a video inside the element being hovered. As for the wavy stuff... yeah I have no idea, the only thing that comes to mind is WebGL and Shaders.

 

Unfortunately this is beyond the scope of these free forums since we try to keep everything in here GSAP related. I'll look into shaders (not the easiest thing I should add) and see what can be done.

 

Another option could be SVG masking and the MorphSVG Plugin, but I don't know about possible performance issues. You could play with it and see how it works:
