The svg is showing up in chrome, but none of the elements are moving when i add gsap. here is the issue in devtools , it seems like there's an error in my file setup? TerraHQ
Can you provide a codepen?
GSAP Helper
Where are you calling your function? Also - It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue? Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer. Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo: See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen If you're using something like React/Next/Nuxt/Gatsby or some other framework, you may find CodeSandbox easier to use. Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
David Fetherston
See the Pen zYaPLqJ by davidfether (@davidfether) on CodePen Here the url for the codepen... hopefully this works. Thanks again
GreenSock
Seems like you just need to load the GSAP files: See the Pen mdKqjme?editors=1010 by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen You were trying to use ES Module imports on CodePen using relative paths, so obviously those won't work. It's difficult to know what exactly was the problem in your local setup - I see that you were using regular ES Module imports as if you installed GSAP via NPM or Yarn, so my guess is that you didn't install it properly(?) Since you're using some bonus plugins, make sure you either install via the private repository or you can download the zip and use the gsap-bonus.tgz file (super simple - just drop it into your project directory and run npm install ./gsap-bonus.tgz). See https://greensock.com/install Or maybe your error was triggered by some other 3rd party script. Again, it's tough to troubleshoot blind. Hopefully this gets you going in the right direction, though. Happy tweening!
