ScrollTrigger bugs on tablets but working on desktops

Hi there :)

Over the last month, I developed two different animated websites using GSAP, ScrollTrigger & Locomotive Scroll. Only one of those projects uses Locomotive Scroll, so I can tell for sure that this has nothing to do with my issue.

Everything works fine, just as expected. Except for the tablet view. I've tried it on the iPad Pro 12.9" 2. Gen and there are just so many bugs.

My question is if there is a way to handle this? I feel like I searched through the whole web and no one got the same issues that I got...

The website is built with Wordpress Elementor, but the other project with similar bugs is coded in Shopify's Liquid code. The URL of the website is https://lh.your-new-website.de/. To be more precise, the pin space section do not work properly on tablet.

I'm very thankful for any kind of help! :)

Unfortunately, we just don't have the resources to do free audits of live web sites and try to chase down issues. It's almost impossible to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue?

Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer.

Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo

If you're using something like React/Next/Nuxt/Gatsby or some other framework, you may find CodeSandbox easier to use.

There isn't anything in ScrollTrigger that'd work differently on a tablet. It doesn't care what device it's on.

Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
