ecsancho
Greetings! I ran into a weird issue when I enable Scroll Smoother it places my scroll triggers at the bottom of my content container when I test in mobile dimensions using dev tools and ios safari browser, however when is remove Scroll Smoother the triggers are at the correct locations. If anyone can please give me any pointers? Thanks in advance! let smoother = ScrollSmoother.create({ wrapper : "#smooth-wrapper", content : "#main-container", smooth:1, smoothTouch: 0.1, onUpdate: this.scrollProgress, normalizeScroll: true }); gsap.set("#box", { width: 200, height: 200, backgroundColor: "#ff0000" }); gsap.to("#box", { scrollTrigger:{ trigger: "#box", scrub: true, markers: true, start: "top center", end: "bottom+=20 top", onEnter: ()=>{ console.log("enter") } // pin: true }, x:400, rotation: 360, duration: 6 })
GSAP Helper
It's pretty tough to troubleshoot without a minimal demo - the issue could be caused by CSS, markup, a third party library, your browser, an external script that's totally unrelated to GSAP, etc. Would you please provide a very simple CodePen or CodeSandbox that demonstrates the issue? Please don't include your whole project. Just some colored <div> elements and the GSAP code is best (avoid frameworks if possible). See if you can recreate the issue with as few dependancies as possible. If not, incrementally add code bit by bit until it breaks. Usually people solve their own issues during this process! If not, then at least we have a reduced test case which greatly increases your chances of getting a relevant answer. Here's a starter CodePen that loads all the plugins. Just click "fork" at the bottom right and make your minimal demo: See the Pen aYYOdN by GreenSock (@GreenSock) on CodePen If you're using something like React/Next/Nuxt/Gatsby or some other framework, you may find CodeSandbox easier to use. you are using version 3.11.3, right? Once we see an isolated demo, we'll do our best to jump in and help with your GSAP-specific questions.
ecsancho
Thanks for the response. I'm using the latest version of gsap. I manage to fix it by calling on scrollTrigger.refresh() on window.resize. I'll test it further if anything comes up I'll put up a proper codepen. Thanks again
GreenSock
Interesting. ScrollTrigger automatically calls ScrollTrigger.refresh() on window resize so it's curious that you calling it again is doing anything different. Tough to say without a minimal demo.
