Share Posted October 12, 2022 I'd like to do some animations with the elastic.inOut easing. On the other hand I don't want the elastic part on my ease in. Is there a way to obtain such an easing without the utilisation of CustomEase ? Indeed, it's hard to get precise with CustomEase. I'd like to have something like that : I dived into this outstanding tool but in vain : https://greensock.com/docs/v3/Eases Thank you very much
Solution Solution Share Posted October 12, 2022 How about stringing two tweens together, like this? See the Pen ZEoVPPL by geedix (@geedix) on CodePen

Share Posted October 12, 2022 For the record, there's a helper function for blending two eases together: https://greensock.com/docs/v3/HelperFunctions#blend-eases And I was a bit confused by your comment about the CustomEase visualizer being difficult to be precise - did you know that you can select a regular ease and then switch to "custom" and it'll start by tracing the selected ease for you so that you can then just tweak whatever you want to tweak? You can add/remove anchors, etc. It should be quite easy to get whatever you want.
