The Club GreenSock installation process is unclear

Could someone help me install my Club GreenSock membership into a Nextjs project?
I've already watched the YT video about the private registry installation but now I'm wondering if it's outdated since it's from 2020.

I'm using yarn.

I have 0 experience with vim.

Hi there, it's not out of date no. But there are known issues with yarn and private repositories (not a GSAP bug, a yarn bug)

Are you getting an error or having difficulty of some sort?

I've been having problems getting the install to work for myself. You do not need to use vim. All you need to do is create a .npmrc file in your project directory and place the text as it shows in the instructions.

I don't think I need to explain how to create a file, but you can do it in the command line through "touch .npmrc" or you can just create it normally and name it .npmrc. Paste in the text provided in the instructions, save it, and then run the npm install as per the instructions. As Cassie mentioned, some people have problems with yarn, but I don't use yarn and it almost always works for me.

I should say the issues I experience are almost exclusively when it comes to deploying on netlify, and are entirely resolved if I follow the regular installation instructions from the beginning before following the platform specific guide.
