I read your question a few times but I'm still unsure what you're asking. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️

 

Can you elaborate please? And if you can make the demo as simple as possible to only focus on the problem you're facing, you will greatly increase your chances of getting a good answer.

It's unpinned because the scroll position gets set to 0, thus ScrollTrigger is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It's as if the page is scrolled all the way back to the top. Notice the scrollbar disappears. Again, this isn't a problem with ScrollTrigger from what I can tell - it's what you're doing to the <body>. 

 

There isn't a simple way to tell ScrollTrigger "the scroll position is going to rewind past the start of the ScrollTrigger...but just act like that didn't happen and keep things pinned."
