These forums are meant for GSAP-specific questions and not logic issues. Please see the forum guidelines. 

 

You do have a mousemove event listener on the window, so of course you are going to get movement everywhere. And for event driven stuff like this, we do have a new Observer plugin, which can simplify event handling.
