Simple draggable slider

Dear people,

 

I can't figure out why my simple slider works only for the second time (the first time it slides half, to the center). And there is some extra space on the left (see the red borders at the first slide).

 

Maybe there a some small things i'm doing wrong? Thanks already!

Is it possible to give the text items a different move speed to get some parralax? Anf how can i get control over the slides to animate in the text over the images?

That would most likely require modifying that helper function to some degree. I'm wondering if some of the demos at the bottom of this thread would be better suited for what you're trying to do.

 

 

And a nice thread about parallax, although it doesn't loop.
