Non linear navigation / animation

Hey all,

I've been following along with Carl's great automated Gallery tutorials and combining them in my own example with his non-linear navigation lesson (

). I know when he does this (in the next few lessons) he removes the timeline entirely, but I'm interested to know why my example slides aren't animating when using the navigation buttons (the dots, not rather than the prev/next buttons)

I can't see why the non-linear example above works, but mine doesn't? 🤷‍♂️

Really enjoying it though, after too long doing back end testing, despite being a bit rubbish at it 😄

Any advice would be great!

I checked your demo and the dot navigation seems to work fine. Perhaps you fixed it?

Hi Carl,

It works but cuts fast between the labels for me, they aren't animating in or out (in contrast to the prev/next btns).

Just couldn't see why, given the code (to me) looks the same as your navigation video. Wanted to try and understand before moving on to the non-timeline videos (really enjoyed this series of videos btw 🙂)
