Animating SVG clip path with scroll trigger

Hey, I'm new to learning gsap and recently came across this this that has a really nice scroll trigger animation using scrub and pin to animate what I think is an svg clip path (although not 100% sure).

I am new to svg and gsap so have just started taking a few courses and got a ok understanding but was hoping someone here could point me in the direction of a few tutorials on how to achieve this kind of hero image. Or if someone has a few links to codepens they have found with something similar?
