Gatsby - GSAP not working in production

GSAP works fine in development, but not in production to AWS. My guess is I need to add something to the gatsby.config.js file, but I can't find what that is and where I should install?

I'm not sure - I have zero familiarity with Gatsby, but I wonder if it's being over-aggressive in its tree shaking? @OSUblake any ideas?

Hard to say. Does it show any build errors on AWS?

These are the errors I'm getting, but the page is loading and everything else is working fine, accept the GSAP split text.

Did you make sure to register the plugin?:

gsap.registerPlugin(SplitText);

Yes, I have it setup like this inside useEffect

if (splitRef.current == null) return

if (typeof window !== `undefined`) {

gsap.registerPlugin(SplitText)

gsap.core.globals("SplitText", SplitText)

}

 You really shouldn't need this:

gsap.core.globals("SplitText", SplitText)

I'm not sure what could be going wrong in your deployment. Without a minimal demo, it's super tough to troubleshoot.

Does getting rid of SplitText remove those errors? And can you console.log SplitText out? It seems like if SplitText wasn't loading correctly, you get an error saying it couldn't find the constructor or something like that.

So this might be an AWS issue, not a Gatsby issue. The animations work fine on Netlify.
