Add Textfield to FlexTransformManager

Hi all,

 

For the life of me i can't find a way to add an editable textField to the manager in Flex.

 

I first got errors about the textfield not being part of a UI component so i now first add it to a UIComponent instance.

It now shows on the canvas but i can't select it.

 

Can someone post me an example on how to do such an easy task as I fail at doing it myself

Did you put your TextField's UIComponent wrapper into the FlexTransformManager? Have you tried a TextArea component? If you're still having trouble, please send me an e-mail or PM with a simple example Flex project demonstrating the issue.
