PointC
I seem to recall a thread where @GreenSock showed a way to paste a custom ease into the URL of the ease visualizer so you could make some tweaks to a complex ease without starting over. I can't locate the thread though and don't remember how to do it. Or am I imagining the whole thing?
ZachSaucier
If you click on "Custom" so that it uses the CustomEase format, you should be able to click on the orange path data and switch out the values for your own (make sure to de-select to update). Or are you asking about something else?
ZachSaucier
Ah, you mean in the actual URL for the page. You can do that by including ?CustomEase=yourPathData: https://greensock.com/customease?CustomEase=M0,0,C0.14,0,0.242,0.438,0.272,0.561,0.313,0.728,0.354,0.963,0.362,1,0.37,0.985,0.414,0.873,0.455,0.811,0.51,0.726,0.573,0.753,0.586,0.762,0.662,0.812,0.719,0.981,0.726,0.998,0.788,0.914,0.84,0.936,0.859,0.95,0.878,0.964,0.897,0.985,0.911,0.998,0.922,0.994,0.939,0.984,0.954,0.984,0.969,0.984,1,1,1,1
PointC
Oh yeah, forgot about that, duh! 🤦♂️ I guess I'm on no sleep and suffering from blog writing brain. I think shortly after CustomEase came out there was something about pasting it into a URL. Maybe that was before some features were added. I dunno? Thanks. Pasting into the orange path data is much easier though. Thanks.
PointC
Though the URL trick will be handy for the post I'm writing on easing. That way I can have readers click over to the ease visualizer with something complex already entered into the path data. 👍
