Hello,

 

I am  planning to build a smartphone app with React Native. Will I be able to use GSAP3 in my app? Will I need to use an NPM package such as react-native-render-html or are there any other ways?

Hey Arshad and welcome to the GreenSock forums!

 

GSAP works great with any JavaScript objects. But React Native is a bit of a different platform. There are some projects like https://github.com/CuppaCMS/gsap-react-native and https://github.com/tufik2/TweenMaxRN that try to bring some of GSAP features to React Native but they haven't been updated in a while and aren't GSAP 3 compatible. Hi ArshadSyed, now there are a new version that support GSAP3, so if you are looking an alternative to ReactNative Animated, this could be a good option.
