Babakness
Hello, Congratulations on GSAP 3! ? Looking at this demo on Safari / Mac 12 I notice faint blue lines streak behind the blue box. Look just to the left of the GSAP logo (located on the bottom right). Screenshot included:
ZachSaucier
Hey Babakness, thanks for reporting this. I can also confirm visual artifacts happening in Safari on Catalina. CC @GreenSock
GreenSock
Yeah, that's totally unrelated to GSAP (which doesn't do any rendering). I'm on Catalina as well, and I don't see any of those artifacts. Could be a video card thing or driver. Tough to say for sure. Thanks for reporting it, but I don't think there's anything we can do about it unfortunately.
Jonathan
Hello @Babakness and welcome to the GreenSock! Are you seeing this on a Mac 12 with a Intel Graphics GPU with your Safari on Catalina? I know those Intel Graphics GPU have had this type of rendering artifact issue in previous Safari versions. Also does it still add those artifacts if you add transform: translateZ(0) to the <svg> element? This way it can make it a fresh rendering paint layer of the element, instead of just rendering only a composite layer. Just my two bits!
