Sticky Section with Horizontal Scrolling

Hi everyone,

 

So there's this effect I would like to use on a website I'm making; I partly know how I'll handle this.. but I'm wondering how I'll do the javascript part.

See the horizontal scrolling? 

I know I need to make a section of the page sticky; then setting the height of that "section" equal to the width, so the sticky property will kick in & allow me to scroll all the way down while the vertical scroll has to work...  But how do I trigger the scrollbar to scroll vertical only during "that sticky part" ?

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'd love to use greensock for this!
