By removing the delay, the animation tries to "catch up" for whatever time has gone by since the tween was started. That's why the state jumps forward a bit. 

 

I would recommend adding a .play(0) (or .restart()) to make it start from the beginning if that's what you're wanting.

Keep in mind that if the user clicks after the delay, it will still restart the tween. I would recommend checking if it .isActive() to avoid that.
