Use draggable without moving element. Possible?

Greetings all. Is it possible with gsap draggable to "drag" an element without moving the object? Basically I want to use it to capture the velocity on drag and dragRelease. Thanks in advanced!

Ya you can create a DOM element and use that as proxy and use your target element as trigger.

 

To get velocity you need to use ThrowPropsPlugin, check 'Getting the velocity section' in docs: https://greensock.com/docs/Utilities/Draggable
