Cool effect for video (need help)

Hi guys. I'm looking realization effect like on this site https://antoni.de/. When srolling video animated like a parts of blocks. 

Anybody know somethin about this effect. It's looking very cool.

 

I'm try to do something same, but my variante is very heavy for browser and eat more resource.

 

 

Please help me did something same.

They use canvas to display video in different blocks as trying to play 5-6 videos at once is going to decrease performance.

 

Take a look at following simple example that shows how you can draw video frames to canvas or you can use PIXI JS to do same thing.
