CSSPlugin: causes reflow?

Yes, there's a tiny amount of setup code that runs and sets some variables so that runtime performance is maximized (which is essential for animation). And yes, some of that is browser/feature sniffing. 

 

Are you trying to avoid it for a particular reason? It should have only a tiny impact on startup performance (probably not even noticeable real-world), but the tradeoff is much faster runtime performance. I guess the answer is "no", it cannot be avoided. :)
