Does Greensock's "No charge" license covers support for envato marketplaces? I want to make a Wordpress Theme/Plugin which will use GSAP as it's animation core and sell it to Themeforest/Codecanyon. As the "No charge" license states that:

  1. You may use the code at no charge in commercial or non-commercial apps, web sites, games, components, and other software as long as end users are not charged a fee of any kind to use your product or gain access to any part of it. If your client pays you a one-time fee to create the site/product, that's perfectly fine and qualifies under the "no charge" license. If end users are charged a usage/access/license fee, please sign up for a "Business Green" Club GreenSock membership which comes with a comprehensive commercial license. See http://greensock.com/club/ for details.
  2. Use at your own risk. No warranties are offered.
  3. Please respect the copyright.

Am I allowed to perform my submission to those marketplaces obeying the above terms?

Hello and welcome to the GreenSock forums,

Thanks for your inquiry about the license. The following text from the terms describes the usage of selling to multiple people through Envato:

If end users are charged a usage/access/license fee, please sign up for a "Business Green" Club GreenSock membership which comes with a comprehensive commercial license.

In order to use GreenSock products in a product you sell to multiple people through the Envato marketplace you will need a Business Green membership.

If you want to learn more about why we chose this licensing model please read: https://greensock.com/why-license

The license should literally pay for itself in very short time with a few sales of your product.

If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know. Thanks again for asking about the license.

There's a link to the license for your particular membership in your dashboard (and on the Club page). In your case, it's https://greensock.com/license?license=business-1-annual. If Envato is asking for proof that you've got the proper membership, you could probably just print your invoice as a PDF and send that to them (I'm not sure exactly what they require - I'm just guessing this would be perfectly adequate). Let us know if you need anything else - we'd be happy to help.
