Path data malformed

Hi guys,

 

we are testing the MorphSVG plugin on Codepen and tried to animate a SVG with it. Unfortunately we get the following error:

"ERROR: malformed path data: #cloud1_x5F_2"
"ERROR: malformed path data: #cloud2_x5F_2"
"ERROR: malformed path data: #cloud3_x5F_2"

We tried different things to tidy up the SVG, but it's still not working. What exactly is "malformed" here?

Just changed your id names.

 

I assume its doing what it should be as there are no longer any errors.

Hi artd, and welcome to the GreenSock forum!

 

For future reference you can also use this online SVG optimization tool. It will clean up malformed code that is generated from vector drawing programs. Just remember to untoggle Clean ID's so you can preserve your ID attributes.
