I bought the GSAP update to obtain the powerfull SVG plugins. But I've readen topics about edge and svg and I cannot make it work. I don't speak english very weel, so explanations seem quite confuse for me across the many pages of the forum. Can someone explain it in a synthetic page : how to use an Illustrator SVG file inside Edge Animate with GSAP and SVG draw and transform plugins ? Thanks a lot for your precious help. If you can produce a zip sample file too, that would be wonderfull.

Hi Zhur  :)

pls check this thread : http://greensock.com/forums/topic/13260-alternative-to-using-edgecommons-for-morphsvg-within-edgeanimate/

check / download the attached zip file

- copy these file to 'js' folder : TweenMax.min.js  &  DrawSVGPlugin.min.js

- don't test that locally , run your adobe Edge and File menu > Preview In Browser (Ctrl+Return) , or use a local test server like Xampp ;

some browsers like the Google Chrome will not load local file by default ( due to security reason )

hi, maybe a bit off topic but seems edge animate is not quite frequently discussed in GSAP forum, I think it may be good to ask in this post.

Edge animate is no longer being actively developed since Nov2015, which means it's gonna die sooner or later... so, is there any other good alternative to Edge Animate?

Of course I love the versatility of GSAP on managing the speed and time of animation. As a graphic designer, I'd really like to layout the animation's elements by simple drag and drop, unlike that we have to code everything like in DreamWeaver.
