clickTag for Flash CC to Canvas export

I have some already created FLAs that are slated to run in October, so I thought i would try out the Flash CC to canvas workflow. Plus others may need this info. And GSAP does work with Flash CC.

 

Luckily Lynda.com has a tute called 

 

HTML5 Canvas and WebGL in Flash Professional CC

For banner ads would it not need to be

 

canvas.onclick = function(event) {

    window.open("clickTag", "_blank");

}

 

 

I am not clear as to what Web GL means or what it is for.

WebGL is 3D in the browser. It is <canvas> on steroids.

 

I have dabbed a bit with it on the past. Very keen to work more with it but the opportunity never arrives.

 

ThreeJS and PlayCanvas make very good poster boys for it.
