My project uses the <body> element as a main container for the page and it is given a fixed width and centered. It is also set to have position:relative.

 

Draggable rotation doesn't seem to work properly under those circumstances. The knob is spinning on itself, but the actual point around which you move your mouse isn't calculated correctly. Here is a codepen:
