Default Ease

Hi and welcome to the GreenSock forums.

Sorry for the frustration.

The vast majority of animations benefit from some subtle easing on the way out as things in the physical world naturally decelerate when they come to a resting point due to friction / resistance.  Linear eases appear very lifeless and mechanical, and although they have their place, are used far less.

Again, sorry if the info wasn't easy to find.

I think you will find that as you use GSAP more and more, having the default ease as Power1.easeOut is very helpful and changing the defaultEase when necessary is easy enough.
