Support for scaling width to same as height out the box?

Wondering if greensock has support for scaling an objects width or height so they match?

 

Basically if the width is 100 and the height is 30. I want to trigger a tween to scale the width to 30.

 

Ofc I could do this by calculating height/width and the setting the scale to that, but wondering if the there is already out of the box support for it? Would prefer tweening using scale rather than tweening width/height since it seems to work better(scales from center by default for example)

i think scaling isn't a good idea in your case , this can help you to tween width from center :

var target = document.getElementById('mydiv');
TweenMax.to(target,1,{x:(target.offsetWidth/2)-(target.offsetHeight/2),width:target.offsetHeight});

Not sure why this would be useful, but assuming you scaled your element to something like 100x30, you could do something like finding the min scaleX/Y and transform it that way.
