GSAP CDN files much larger than stated

Hi there,

 

I've been using TimelineLite and TimelineMax. Recently I noticed that the file size in my network inspector was much larger than advertised when including the CDN links from your site. I use GSAP as an alternative to jQuery in some instances due to the faster performance and the smaller download size.

 

TweenLite + CSSPlugin | 15kb --> Actually 60.06kb

 

TweenMax | 23kb --> Actually 99.63kb

 

Why are these files so much bigger than advertised? It is a problem for me.

It's most common (industry-standard) to state the sizes in their minified, gzipped form. You're looking at the non-gzipped size
