GSAP Docset for Dash?

Does anyone have a current docset for GSAP that can be loaded into Dash for Mac?

Nope, sorry. It's a highly customized database-driven system. Just have a lot more exciting things to do with the animation tools that take priority over building a Dash exporter.

 

We've heard the request before, it's something we have on our list.

I totally agree the Elders shoudln't "waste their time" with Dash docset.

Maybe a fellow gsap-user is willing to do this? It appears Dash welcomes user-contributed docsets.

I've done an initial investigation of turning the offline docs into a Dash docset, and I think it would be very difficult with the compiled React app. Would you consider releasing the raw docs as a Github repo?

We actually reached out to the Dash folks (or person) and were told that it's strictly a "the more people request it, the more likely it'll get done" thing over there, and he said GSAP wasn't toward the top of that list so it may never happen (well, unless a bunch of people start telling Dash they need GSAP in there). We're not really interested in open-sourcing all the guts of our docs at this point, no. Sorry. But if we did that, how exactly would that help? Would you be looking to program some kind of scraper to grab the necessary data and shove it into a Dash-specific format? Just curious.

Yes. There is a guide to generating your own docset and there are various scripts such as Dashing that could make it relatively painless.

Ha - "relatively painless". I guess it's relative indeed. Are you volunteering to convert the docs to Dash's format? I'd be open to sending you uncompiled stuff privately if you're interested.
